The Chicago Public Library (CPL) hosts events and offers programs at its two libraries located in the South Loop: the Harold Washington Library Center and the Chinatown Branch. Some of the events and programs, like Baby Story Time and Appreciating Cantonese Opera, are focused on literature and culture. But you can also take exercise classes like Tai Chi, learn a new language, improve your digital literacy, and create things in the Maker Lab.
We share as many options as we can via our seasonally-focused Things to Do pages, the South Loop Chronicles, Facebook, and Twitter, but we can’t possibly capture them all. To learn more about the programs, events and activities available at our local CPL branches, click on the links below. From there you can also access other information, such as hours and location.
